The Underground is indeed Underground. Dirty, dark, really fucked up In other words: Cool!
If it remains like that is not so sure, because the plans for the construction of a shopping centre on its place have progressed quite far. It’s would be such a pity.
Nevertheless, it´s an honour for the 4Backwoods to play here tonight. The frontman Daniel has no reservations with the audience. They had also no problems to play successfully at “Rock am Ring” without being officially on the program. Otherwise it´s all very well for the band. The second record “Be different or die” has come out with the first single “Supernova Day” It’s an home match for the Local heroes of Powerrock.
After a martial fight intro the band comes quickly to the point. Hard riffs are played by the four guys, which reminds me of the group “The Offspring” (who would still know them?) Only for those who wants to know which kind of Rock was played. The following show has all attributes for an successful Rock evening: A enthusiastically playing band, a singer who also gladly communicated with the audience (Keywords: Beer Shortage on stage and the helping Beerfairie) and of cause songs you can rock along with. At this point I want to present Andre the Bassman, who tortured his bass completely atypically and steamed up the rhythm machine. The sound is good as always. But the owner of the underground may invest some Euros into the lighting-equipment. That would make it easier for photographers. (Keyword: darkroom)

I noticed that the band set list still contains coversongs as always, which wpuld not longer be necessary. Yet the 4B variants of “I just died in your arms tonight” and “California love” are already cool.
Among the songs they played were: Bleed Like This, Stupid Tragedy, Crawlers, Best Days Of My Life, A Fucked Up Love X, A Friend Of Mine and The Dream I Live in. Worth mentioning are perhaps also the front-stage diving ambitions by Fronter Daniel. This might probably the record of Germany´s smallest crowd walking act that has been performed at a live gig. Only five people kept the daring singer floating in the auditorium. Twice. Respect!
