Opposite Side is a promising hope in the modern Metal/Alternative genre, in which thereīs a lack of German contributions anyway. After some appropriate screaming, the Italians get down to serious business. Opener Still Feel You makes clear that heavier sounds prevail and that mass-appeal in form of softer or mushier songs is totally out of question. The chorus, which comes up here and there, isnīt changing this, either. Also the other nine songs take the same line and can convince with both the structure of the songs and especially the guitar work the band sets a high value on variation. Combined with the good production, the CD has simply turned out great. Fans of this genre should definitely have a listen.
