Some French especially from the northwest of France like to remember of their ancestor’s culture and quite similar to the north men of Europe, Aes Dana takes Black Metal as the stylistic device to remember of the Celtic culture. Long speech, short message: on “Formors” there are 8 extended tracks full of Black Metal meets Celtic Folk. Of course all lyrics are in French. But this middle age romantic with whistle and acoustic guitar takes a lot of the dark tenor and sometimes you think of Mr. Blackmore would not be there the revolting vocals. All in all, a nice idea, but the conversion into has some lacks.
