What am I getting my hands on this time? In fact a record that is rather pop- music. Soon everybody will realise that the genre points at a modern band, named “Catharina Boutari“. The gents and the lady come up with fluffy and light songs that promise quality and variety. Very cool! “Tanzschule Boutari” combines interesting rhythm and melody alterations with a centered guitar sound that pleases the ear.
The team does the job with a fresh attitude and with routine, therefore it’s a lot of fun to bang your head to tracks like “MetaMädchen” or “Roboter Liebe”.
Leadsinger Catharina gives her best in pop as well as in the few Punk parts she combines via clear parts with the rest. So the songs stay with you for several hours. And that says something…
The production gives the record a powerful sound that gets a big fat plus point from me.
