"Blooddrunk" is the sixth studio release of the Finnish megasellers, lead by guitar genius Alexi Laiho. As usual this cd contains the expected high class Death Metal with lots of guitar solos and high speed keyboards.
Yet the differences between the new output and the latest cd "Are you dead yet?" are just slight ones, so longtime fans may be a bit disappointed. The songs hardly stay in ear and they somehow seem a bit... bloodless.
That holding on the "never change a winning formula" thingie is at least a commercial success proven by high chart entries. Blooddrunk is not an album made for your stereo, but occasionally and on top volume in a club, songs like "One day you will cry" may work.
The CD is also available in a LTD. Edition, that contains a bonustrack and an extra DVD
