Well, the instrumental-goody will not be buried by DON CABALLERO but “Punkgasm” is indeed an impressive record that sets the standards high. The tasty “Bulk Eye” is technically well made, which results from the fact that you have to listen to the song for several times to be able to acknowledge its high class. But also “Why is the Couch Always Wet?” or “Dirty Looks” are groundbreaking songs, which create a unique atmosphere as well as a distinctive adjustment to modern influences.
Apart from that they use a skillfully seasoned, passionate sound with rough edges and a nippy-freaky thickness full of impressive spheres. A singer is absolutely not missed here. The cover shows that DON CABALLERO have humor, which makes “Punkgasm” even more charming and interesting.
