Dead Head from the Netherlands serve some solid, aggressive Thrash Metal. When it comes to the Groove, you could easily compare them to their fellow countrymen from Legion of the Damned. Those who don´t start banging their head from the first song "Dissolved In Purity" onwards, should definitely check their ears. Those guys have been around for about 20 years already and when considering, that they "only" released 5 albums since then, you can easily guess, that it´s more about quality rather than qunatinty. Apart from that, you can hear the new member Ralph de Boer, who´s handling the bass and vocals from now on for the first time. And he´s definitely doing a good job on this raw and uncompromised record. One thing is for sure, this is a perfect CD for all Thrashfans and everyone, will push the repeat button after 40 minutes - well, if you´re still able to do it, that is. Some might say, that "Depression Tank" lacks of variation here and there, but if you´re into this brutal and aggressive sort of Thrash you´re most likely to love this album as it is!
