Kreator released throughout the new „Thrash Revival“ with „Violent Revolution“ the best album among the big German three. Which is even more surprising when you think about the fact that Mille and Co. fished before in almost calm gothic seas. Correspond to that, the expectations for the new album, which will find its way to the record shops by the beginning of 2005, have been pretty high.
To say one thing in advance: „Enemy of God“ surpasses easily all expectations. What their rehearsals in Essen already promised: the new album is full of riff-fireworks, which are hard to find even in the international music world. Already the opener reminds me of the souly „Pleasure to Kill“-times. All songs, and I mean each and every one of them, are real hits.
This album offers everything. Abundant in variety, aggression, melody, cool brakes, dynamism. And not to forget Andy Sneaps fat production once again.
Even though I usually try to find even the smallest hair in the soup – but this one couldn`t be any better.
