If you saw the block buster Starsky & Hutch or the cult film Old School, you may remember the band that played in those films. Yes, that was The Dan Band! Finally they are releasing their first album and it's already a live album. They play excellent versions of songs from bands like ABBA, Alanis Morrisette, Patti Labelle and Cher and they put it in a new, cool bluesy/soul kind of jacket. Sometimes it sounds like Billy Joel. Great, a truly enjoyable album.
