The Sticky Fingers Ltd. are around as a band for some time but only since 2013 have they operated under this name. So, obviously, they used the same name for their first full-length album. Quite clearly, the four Italians are inspired by bands like the Stones and Lynryd Skynyrd and vary their sound between rock and blues, with some country elements in between. By doing so, they try to sound as versatile as possible. Musicwise, they did a great job: the guitars are well-played and singer Lorenz knows his stuff, even though he could play around with his voice more. I like the Country Rock parts but here and there I miss a certain uniqueness or just the icing on the cake. All in all, it´s good average and not a bad record. If you´re curious now, listen to „Serial Killer“ – it´s a good track. Or to „It Ain´t Over“, a duet with Laura Mocali. Why it is the last song on the album, I don´t know. I would have placed it differently and given the girl more parts to sing.
