Right on time for X-Mass Jethro Tull released their new live-album. Whereby „new“ is in this case the wrong word. After all, these recordings are roughly 35 years old.
At that time Jethro Tull performed at the Isle of Weight-Festival together with artists like Jimi Hendrix in front of 600.000 people. The recordings are remastered by frontman Ian Anderson, that’s why it sounds good even after all those years.
But who is looking for classics like "Aqualung" or "Catfish Rising" will be disappointed. These albums were released after 1970. That's why greenhorns should get back to new live material to get a better overlook on Jethro Tulls progressive Hardrock.
