The CD of this Finnish band impresses with the beautiful cover, basically just black and white but very creative visualization. Therefore you get curious if you find the content as convincing as the cover. The intro takes you to the endless plains of Finland, silent lakes, dark woods appear in front of your mind´s eye... and suddenly "Boom", your soft Yoga-soundtrack is over, and it´s getting noisy. Those Finns have a good hand for the dark genre and manage to combine Melodic Death and Doom, yet the tendencies clearly point to the latter. Mysterious, mystical, powerful and destructive, singer Mikko takes you down with him into the depths... and honestly, this morbid damnation thing has this bitter-sweet flavour which makes this album really really tasty ...
