One good thing about Kelley Stoltz: You ought to be really obsessive to produce a self-made release in the year 2001 (!) on Vinyl (!!) and selling the stuff yourself at concerts or in record stores. At least it lead to a deal with Sub Pop Records and another album five years later, which sounds like coming straight from the 60s. The Beatles were surely influential, influential big time, and some tunes sound really familiar. But still this is a very humble (positively) and appealing album. Sometimes slightly psychedelic, but the piano dominates. The guy from San Francisco can be proud.
