The title already tells you that „In Love and Death“ is not an album to laugh about and that’s a good thing!
The sound varies from harder pieces like the opening song „Take it Away“, to almost acoustic songs like „Yesterday’s Feelings“ and thus provokes you to let your EMOtions run free. The album is very diverse and convincing with catchy melodies, that many would consider commercial, and beautiful clamour, which we have come to know and love about the guys from Utah. It is a well produced record that is a bit more suitable for the masses than the debut album, but all the same, it manages to convey a certain intensity and it will certainly be fun to listen to even after the obligatory three week period.
