And again a Finnish formation which wants to get into the south. Celesty have a very creative way to do this, because to their Melodic Metal the sextet also adds a heroic background story, that has already been created in their first album. This fairy-tale is about the land Cryon, in which horrible battles have to be fought to succeed over the bad guys who want to steal the elements. And like in any epos of this sort, there is also the king´s unfaithful son, who takes the thing that should be saved with him and causes danger for the whole world. By means of powerful and catchy songs the Finnish tell this opulent saga, which shows some similarities with great RPG classics. The nine tracks were composed in a variable way, made up with orchestral support and remind one sometimes of Nightwish or Sirenia (although here there is no woman whining in her microphone). If you let yourself get involved in the background story, the epic songs do the rest to beam the listener into the fantastic world of the Scandinavians.
This album is a great variety to the Finnish uniform music which came to us in the last few years, and that is the reason why Celesty´s third record should get full attention.
