Concerts during working days in the Colo-Saal in Aschaffenburg are a chapter on their own. Some tours haven’t passed this location because the bus driver just didn’t get the band there. With the car you’re much more flexible, unfortunately your’re surrendered to the cold of south Germany. Who cares? Once you’re in there’s enough to get the headbanger’s blood back to it’s veins. Good music and good tasting beer have been waiting for the fans, who came too see The New Black and Dragonforce .
From the beginning:
The New Black do Rock´n´Roll, pretty melodic. You could even affirm the band around the singer Fludid provide a good atmosphere. This was the right thing to heat the audience with their self titled debut album.
Dragonforce. Herman Li and his men had a good sound, profited doubtless from the quality of their songs. Playing songs like „Heroes Of Our Time“, „Fury Of The Storm“, or „The Last Journey Home“ and my personal favourite „Trough The Fire And Flames“ ,it surely isn’t hard to make a good show. The point is to execute it in an appropriate way, and they did it ! Especially bassman Frédéric Leclercq had a big grin from the day before in his face, while frontman ZP Theart put a mark through professionality. All in all it was an awesome evening, with a strong performance of Dragonforce worth being the headliner.
