Nosturi-Club full to the bursting point, the spirits high even during the opening acts - without doubt Soilwork managed to enter the Metal-Major league in Finland, too! Yet in my opinion promoters could dare to send more diverse packages on tour - somehow it drags on a bit having all acts playing similar styles.
This should not be misunderstood as harsh criticism regarding the CONSTRUCDEAD-guys: The Swedes pulled their socks up to outbalance their singer's obvious voice-handicap (a cold!).
Hatesphere from Denmark added an energetic and flawless show and turned the club into a huge sauna.
How about Soilwork? Incredible, but with their first riff gave me the creeps, despite room temperatures. With "Stabbing The Drama", the titletrack of their current CD, they created a real Metal-hymn.
Shouter Björn "Speed" Strid acted like Phil Anselmo's little brother, animating the fans to form "the biggest moshpit in Finnish history". He didn't have to invite the audience to sing along with Figure Number Five, The Bringer, Crestfallen, Room No. 99 or Follow The Hollow ... great show!
