Betontod: Wearing the stone
Heavy stuff with German texts is not necessarily the sign of "New German Hardness bear," as the boorish crowd called Betontod from Rheinberg, with his new 6th CD, "Glaube Liebe Hoffnung" impressively demonstrates! We are dealing here with a pearl, which has earned more than in the trendy mishmash to eke out a niche. Not astonishing as BETONTOD have been around since 1990 in the German Punrock-Scene, playing more than 1000 gigs... Good reason to bother the boys with a few questions ... >> more/mehr

bibleblack: Dark, unpredictable and honest!
Short and simple– funnily those are not the words you would use to describe “Black Swan Epilogue”, the debut album from bibleblack, but that´s how guitarist Mike Wead, legendary member of Mercyful Fate and King Diamond and singer Kacper Rozanski answer STALKERs questions. And somehow it´s not only fighting, also the topics Disco, Karaoke, sperms and Spain popped up... >> more/mehr

Black Light Discipline: Tides run deep
Another representative of what could be called "Gothic" in Finland, raised STALKER´s attention recently - Black Light Discipline, with their CD "Empire" and also with a pretty cool club gig. In their own words, their sound is "a kind of renaissance of electro-metal, if you will." Yet - typically Finnish? - besides those words there is not so much more to be found about BLD, even on the band website... Therefore it became a logical decision to try to get some more words out of the band members. And indeed, Janne (synths) and Antti (guitars) accepted the interview challenge ... >> more/mehr
