Stories about dragons and fair maidens, leather and spikes and bikes are out. This is the first power metal album since Savatage's "Dead Winter Dead" I have heard that actually deals with serious subjects, and almost exclusively. In 13 songs the band sing away the frustrations of their soul, for instance about cloning and the exploitation of nature. In my opinion, Metalium are one of the most musically underappreciated bands in the genre. These are not easily digestible kiddy melodies. The rhythms alone are so sophisticated, that you have to listen to it three times before you get them. Over all, "Chapter Five" once again features aggressive riffs, impelling drums and high-pitched vocals. Don Airey (Deep Purple)contributed to the keyboards. This album is convincing in every aspect! Tips: "Power Of Time" and "Cyber Horizon".
