This act from Romania, formerly known as Dies Irae, changed name and style, now sounding much more like a band from Scandinavia: a mix of Melodic Death, Thrash & Goth and a touch melancholy. And a bit of Folk - as if Amorphis and Children Of Bodom made music together - or Before The Dawn brutal, without Lars... therefore people who like the bands mentioned can check out this band anyway. What really surprised me here was the song "Envy", sort of quiet and culmination point of this album. The harmonies there are perhaps most "Romanian", the vocals have a certain System Of A Down-feeling - simply great. Basically this CD is way above the average, the production quality deserves a thunbs-up, too - you simply feel that this is a band with experience, a lot of heart and soul.

PS: The bonus tracks give an impression of the Industrial/Gothic past, when the band was rather influenced by Depeche Mode
