The single "Lift 'U' Up" is the precursor of the eighth Gotthard album that was unleashed on mankind on the 6th June under the name of "Lipservice".
The four version of the song (as well as an enhanced part with a photo gallery and a screen saver) indicate what the band sounds like anno 2005: laid-back, spontaneous, catchy and heavy and also relatively modern. Isn't annoying and you can safely put it on when mommy is visiting. Also suitable as party music because of the typical hardrock refrains that you can still growl along to after consuming considerable amounts of alcohol. „Lift ´U´ Up“ is however not a single you want to listen to more than four times in a row.
