Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Dutch Horror show. “What?” you might ask now. Just listen to the Intro and then you know what I mean. It’s really like the soundtrack to a gloomy theme park attraction. But after that it’s like a killer sound: Heavy Metal riffs, hard guitars, progressive elements and an epic tenderness that are united in a successful alliance. And at least something was avoided, the comparison with Finnish Nightwish. No, the band from The Netherlands found their own way, and if you need comparisons, it’s better to pick their compatriots "After Forever" and "The Gathering". Singer Saskia van Heugten convinces with powerful tunes and a voluminous voice, you can surely expect to hear more from her. The tracks are also quite different: "Hour of Joy" blows you away, while "Kill the Silence" touches your melancholic soul. Finally a real good album, but one tip: Please next time no Queen-Cover, it dosen’t fit and it doesn’t sound convincing at all...
